Fáilte Ireland operates Ireland's Home Holidays website, www.discoverireland.ie. Featuring information on Irish accommodation, things to see and do, what's on and special offers, the website is supported by a comprehensive media campaign throughout the year.
Tourism Content System - TCS
The Fáilte Ireland Tourism Content System or TCS is the national database for tourism content, featuring data on accommodation, activities, attractions and events, as well as data on Irish locations, cities, towns and villages. The TCS is a centralised system that services not only www.discoverireland.ie but also www.discoverireland.com, which is run by Tourism Ireland and promotes the island of Ireland internationally. The TCS is managed by a team of Fáilte Ireland editors based in our offices across the country. The content is also supported by our product development officers, the accommodation approval services, TAMs and TSA, as well as Shannon Development and Dublin Tourism.
To date there are more than 25,000 entries in the database. It contains all approved and listed accommodation, activities, attractions and events. The database is also geo-coded and map enabled.
Fáilte Ireland has won a number of awards for its work on the TCS including the eGovernment Project Management Award for 2007 and the BT Inspired Award for IT in tourism and hospitality 2006.
How do I update my listing on the TCS?

www.meetinireland.com is Fáilte Ireland's dedicated Business Tourism website. Meet in Ireland acts as a promotional medium for positioning Ireland as one of the world's leading destinations for association conferences, meetings, incentive travel and corporate events. It also provides a platform for enhancing industry profile by providing a portal for hotel/venue facilities and corporate event organisers (PCOs & DMCs) search.
Aside from motivational content, meetinireland.com holds a large store of information and resources to facilitate and support destination bids and the organising of corporate events in Ireland.
