Environmental Guidelines
In the context of an ever-widening application of environmental legislation and policies and rising operational costs, it is vital that good environmental practice is incorporated into the day to day management of tourism businesses.
Many businesses have already taken steps towards improving environmental performance and have benefitted from significant cost reductions as a result. Fáilte Ireland, in association with other partners, is producing a series of environmental best-practice guidelines for a number of sectors within tourism.
