    Statutory National Quality Assurance Framework

    It is mandatory for the following accommodation businesses to achieve minimum quality standards in order to comply with Irish law:

    Statutory Quality Assurance Sectors

    • Hotels

    • Hostels

    • Guest houses

    • Caravan and campsites

    • Holiday camps

    • Self catering accommodation (group properties in excess of 7 units on one site)

    Non Statutory National Quality Assurance Framework

    Non Statutory Quality Assurance Sectors

    • Irish Home B&Bs

    • Pubs

    • Equestrian centres

    • Historic houses

    • Golf

    • Coach tourism

    • Spa and wellness

     

    • Self catering (individual properties, less than 7 units on one site)
