Mid - Shannon Corridor Tourism Infrastructure Investment Scheme launched

The Mid - Shannon Corridor Tourism Infrastructure Investment Scheme was introduced in the Finance Act 2007 and provides tax relief for qualifying expenditure on certain tourism facilities in the mid-Shannon area. The scheme is designed to encourage the development of tourism infrastructure in the mid Shannon area and increasing the inflow of tourist visitors. Said scheme commences on the 1st June 2008 with a qualifying period of 3 years.
