Self-catering workshop taking place in your area

Fáilte Ireland, the National Tourism Development Authority, has designed a new classification system for individual self-catering properties. The new system has been developed in close consultation with industry representative groups and features a star rating classification, new online application, and assessment.

In order to familiarise operators with the new arrangements, Fáilte Ireland are inviting self-catering providers to attend one of the implementation workshops which are scheduled nationwide during the coming weeks.
 
Workshops are restricted to new and existing individual self catering operators only.
 
These workshops are provided by Fáilte Ireland free of charge in partnership with sector representative bodies such as the Irish Self Catering Federation, Donegal Self Catering Association and Irish Farmhouse Holidays.
 
The objective of the workshops will be to explain the benefits of the scheme, introduce the updated approval requirements, clarify the new online approval/renewal process and provide networking opportunities for the sector.
