National Tourism Database
The Fáilte Ireland Tourism Content System – or TCS - is Ireland’s national database for tourism content.
Information on more than 20,000 Irish tourism businesses is held in this database system, including details of Irish accommodation, activities, attractions and events.
The database is also geo-coded and map enabled, and includes details of thousands of Irish locations, cities, towns and villages.

There is an opportunity for your tourist business to be:
- Listed on www.discoverireland.ie which promotes Ireland to approximately 2.7 million Irish visitors per year.
- Listed on www.discoverireland.com, a link to 47 different country websites, including over 19 foreign language versions, attracting over one million unique visitors every month.
- Listed on our Business Tourism Website, www.meetinireland.com
For further information, contact your local team.
All website searches on the Discover Ireland websites are sourced from this database – you can find more information on these sites below.
Your entry on the database can feature your contact details, a thorough description of your business, photographs, links to your own website, information on events and other details.
It is an excellent opportunity to showcase your business to tourists.
How can I apply to have my tourism business added to the TCS?
The TCS is managed by a team of Fáilte Ireland editors based in our offices across the country.
The content is also supported by our product development officers, the accommodation approval services, TAMs and TAA, as well as Shannon Development and Dublin Tourism.
If you have a tourism business and would like to request a listing on the TCS, please email us at webmaster@failteireland.ie, giving a brief overview of your tourism business and noting the county you are based in. This will allow us to direct your application to the correct team.
How do I update my listing on the TCS?
For existing accommodation entries, excluding B&Bs, please contact admin@tams.ie.
For B&Bs, activities, attractions and all other entries, please contact webmaster@failteireland.ie.
Please state clearly your name and telephone number, as well as the name of your business, to allow us to identify your database entry promptly.
