Marketing & Sales

How to increase your average customer spend

A small increase in your average customer spend means a BIG difference to your bottom line! Our industry has been reporting that average customer spending is down. Now more than ever, you need qualified staff who are sensitive to customer needs and can seek out and respond to opportunities to increase sales, matching the right product or service with the right customer at the right time.

As a support to you, Fáilte Ireland has developed two in-company workshops tailored to increase your sales.

For front office managers

What you need to know before selling meetings and conferences!

Vital questions for key decision makers in driving conference, meetings, sales and business tourism opportunities:

Does your team understand the different needs of PCO’s and DMC’s?

How effective are your representatives in:

  • Showcasing your USP’s?
  • Selling benefits rather than features?
  • Addressing resistance?
  • Asking for the sale?
  • Negotiating on standards, value and price?
  • Following up enquiries and capturing why bookings did not materialise for future planning and strategy?
  • Reviewing customer satisfaction post-event for future improvement?

If you are unsure about your answers to the above, it is likely your business is not performing optimally.

This 2-day workshop will help you increase your meetings and conference business.

Duration: 2-day workshop from 9.30 am to 5.00 pm
Fee: €100
Next date and location: TBC
