Telephone Sales Skills Development

The objective of this course is to create an awareness of service and sales development techniques and opportunities when using the telephone. It will also provide a comprehensive appreciation of the real need for professionalism in today’s competitive markets.

This 1-day workshop is aimed at individuals who interact with prospects and customers, e.g. reception staff, call centre staff, staff who take bookings and sales staff in general. All of these groups would benefit from the programme as would supervisory/management staff, who manage the above mentioned group.

Duration: 1-day workshop from 9.30 am to 5.00 pm

  • Best practice in telephone communication and sales today
  • Perfecting language/listening skills
  • The start, middle and end of the call – how to make them work

  • How to use questions in sequence that count/establishing needs and wants
  • How to handle client concerns and objections
  • How to deal in particular with price objections

From service to sales: 

A very interactive three hour intensive on-site programme focusing on customer care and communication to increase sales, with an additional half hour briefing for managers. The programme also includes a follow-up on-site assessment  after an agreed period of approximately six weeks to view progress and implementation.
