Description
The Arvagh is one of the longest established coarse angling festivals in Ireland. It attracts anglers from all over Great Britain, Europe and Ireland. Sean Barry and Eamonn Gray are the main organizers, together with great assistance from the members of Arvagh Tourism Association and the Northern Regional Fishery Board. In order to take part in the Arvagh you must pre-book with a deposit of €50.00. Arvagh becomes a 5 day festival in 2010. For accommodation contact Arvagh Tourism association or any of its members.

Last year 'Big Generator' kicked off the very first Donegal International Beer Festival with a bang. By 20.00hrs the large crowd on the Diamond was enjoying the great weather with the great sounds from one Ireland's biggest bands. There was a select array of the best of international beers available in local bars and restaurants all weekend. Saturday night Pavesi kicked off the evening followed by the world renowned 'Hothouse Flowers' who wooed the crowds with their great sounds. It is estimated that over 8,000 people attended the weekend of beer tasting. 2010 promises to be even better.

Lisdoonvarna Matchmaking Festival 2010
People have been flocking to Lisdoonvarna for over two hundred years to enjoy the dancing and the craic. It has become Europe's largest singles festival. Show Details
Description
The festival is growing from strength to strength with more couples and singles coming to enjoy the music and dancing. The dancing starts daily at midday all September at the newly renovated Town Hall Pavilion and continues all over town until the early hours. The festival kicks off on Friday the 3rd of September 2010 with the Lisdoonvarna pony races. The atmosphere for the weekends is electric with many showbands playing at various venues, including The Hydro Hotel and The Imperial Hotel. There is also great music at venues like The Ritz, Rathbaun, Lynches, Nellies, The Royal Spa, Meg Maguires and the Roadside Tavern. The festival finishes on the 2nd and 3rd of October with the selection of Mr Lisdoonvarna and The Queen of The Burren. It's a festival not to be missed.

Description
"Trad on the Prom is the holiday highlight for many who attend it. Suitable for all ages and nationalities Trad on the Prom features the amazing talents of Mairin Fahy on fiddle and vocals. Mairin referred to as ""the girl on the white hot fiddle"" was previously the featured soloist with ""Riverdance"" and ""The Chieftains"". Mairin is joined on stage by Chris Kelly and her band featuring multi-instrumentalist Yvonne Fahy on accordion and bodhran (Irish hand drum) and the haunting music of the uileann pipes performed by guest musician and composer Gerard Fahy, musical director of ""Lord of the Dance"". The show features an array of world champion Irish dancers lead by Cian Nolan (Lord of the Dance), Clare Greaney, the Keaney brothers, Mary McDonagh and Rachael Keaney. Singers include Eurovision star Marc Roberts, multi AIMS winner Sean Costello and Chieftains vocalist Yvonne McMahon."
