2018 Renewals for Fáilte Ireland Approved Accommodation

The Statutory Registration renewal process is now complete and the Statutory Register for 2018 is being finalised. Any businesses that have not renewed will not be included in the 2018 Register.

Should you wish your business to be registered you should re-apply straight away by contacting the Fáilte Ireland Quality Assurance Team (Tel: 1890 697000 or email: qualityassurance@failteireland.ie) to commence a new application.

There are some key consequences arising from not having completed the renewal for your property, including the following:

    • You may no longer use a prescribed term, Hotel, Guest House, etc., to describe your business or in the premises name.

    • The listing for your business will be removed from the Fáilte Ireland and Tourism Ireland websites.

    • You are now required to return the original certificate of registration. This is a legal requirement under the Tourist Traffic Acts.

    • Your Hotel liquor licence may be dependent on your Hotel registration.

Please do contact the Fáilte Ireland Quality Assurance team if you wish to re-apply, have queries or require assistance.
