Renewal Deadlines for Fáilte Ireland Approved Accommodation announced

11 September 2017 is the deadline for all listed sectors to renew their Fáilte Ireland Quality Assurance for 2018.
Listed Sectors include: Irish Home Bed & Breakfasts, Historic Houses, Fáilte Ireland Welcome Standard, Individual Self-Catering Cottages and Apartments.

15 October 2017 is the deadline for all statutory sectors to renew their Fáilte Ireland Quality Assurance for 2018.
Statutory Sectors include: Hotels, Guest Houses, Holiday Hostels, Youth Hostels, Holiday Camps, Caravan & Camping, Holiday Cottages and Holiday Apartments.
To ensure your accommodation is renewed for 2018 approval, please complete the online renewal form via the Trade Portal. All eligible operators should have received an email with details of the renewal process, along with instructions on how to sign in to the Fáilte Ireland Trade Portal.
Once signed in, you will be able to enter your details, update them, and pay. For any assistance, contact the Fáilte Ireland Quality Assurance Team at 1890 697000 or by emailing at qualityassurance@failteireland.ie.

Revised Hotel Regulations and Hotel Classification Criteria
Revised Hotel Regulations were introduced in August 2016 and, following on from this, Fáilte Ireland, in conjunction with the Irish Hotels Federation, have developed new Hotel Classification Criteria.
It has been almost 11 years since the Hotel Regulations and Classification Criteria have been updated. The updated Regulations and Criteria reflect the changes in the industry and consumer needs since then.
