  • Q. Where can I find information about using the self service portal?

  • Q. When is my renewal complete?

  • Your registration / renewal / approval will only be processed when you have completed the form and your payment is received.

     
  • Q. Can I pay in instalments?

  • Payment must be in made in full before the renewal deadline specified.

  • Q. How long do I have to renew my business?

  • The renewal deadline will be specified in the renewal notification from Fáilte Ireland’s dedicated service provider.

     
  • Q. What happens if I miss the renewal deadline?

  • If you have not renewed by the specified date, you will no longer be approved under Fáilte Ireland’s National Quality Assurance Framework and your business details can be removed from www.DiscoverIreland.ie. In order to become approved, you will have to re-apply as a 'new applicant’ through the new application process.

  • Q. How long will it take to complete the renewal form?

  • Completing the renewal form should take approximately 20 minutes.

  • Q. Do I need to update my location?

  • No, the location information is already recorded on Discover Ireland. You can press ‘locate on map’ to ensure that it's correct. If you need to change the location of your premises or business, please contact Fáilte Ireland’s dedicated service provider on 1890 697 000 or email qualityassurance@failteireland.ie

  • Q. What images can I use for Discoverireland.ie?

  • Only high quality digital photographs should be included (formats accepted are JPEG, EPS, TIFF). Photos should be landscape orientation and of a minimum size of 250k to a maximum of 3MB, with a resolution of 72 dpi. A maximum of six images can be displayed.

  • Q. I am unable to upload new pictures of my business.

  • You can submit images by email to qualityassurance@failteireland.ie or on disk to:

    Please note, once the images have been uploaded, all disks will be disposed of securely and are not returnable.
