    Trail management

    In order to make it sustainable, a food trail should be developed, managed and maintained by trail participants.

    It's advisable to create a steering group that is representative of trail participants to manage the trail on behalf of the group.

    Consideration should be given to creating a business plan for the trail to help sustainability and long term planning, in addition to clarity of purpose within the group.
