Employer Excellence Programme: Apply to Become an Approved Survey Provider

Fáilte Ireland is inviting applications from independent employee engagement survey providers to become an ‘Approved Employer Excellence Programme Survey Provider.’<br />

<strong>A</strong><strong>bout the Employer Excellence Programme </strong></h2>

The Employer Excellence Programme (EEP) was launched in 2022 as the cornerstone of Fáilte Ireland’s wider Tourism Careers strategy. Developed in response to the sector’s post-Covid-19 skills shortage, the Programme was designed to drive change in the perception of a career in tourism, supporting businesses to enhance employee engagement and provide a competitive advantage in attracting and retaining top talent. The Programme is now well-established across the industry, with approximately 300 businesses signed-up. At present, around 150 businesses are finishing their three-year Programme, with many looking to re-engage for the next phase. Over the past three years, the EEP has provided tourism businesses with a comprehensive suite of interventions aimed at strengthening workforce engagement and strategic HR development. These supports include People Management Training, an independent employee engagement survey and one-on-one guidance from a HR expert or mentor to navigate key strategic challenges and opportunities. Businesses also receive assistance in developing actionable plans based on their employee engagement survey results, along with access to targeted capability-building initiatives, EEP certification and public relations and marketing resources.</p>

From July 2025, as the first cohort of businesses complete their initial three-year commitment, a new enrolment process will be introduced for businesses to access survey providers and the suite of supports provided by Fáilte Ireland through the Employer Excellence Programme (EEP). To ensure the Programme remains financially sustainable for Fáilte Ireland and viable for businesses in the long-term, participating businesses, Fáilte Ireland is establishing a selection EEP-approved survey providers to give businesses the flexibility to chose a survey provider that best suit their specific needs, with costs covered directly by the businesses themselves.<br />

Once a survey provider is approved, Fáilte Ireland will provide businesses with information via its website about each survey provider with a list of contacts. This will open many new leads for survey providers in the market with at least 300 businesses being targeted to rejoin the programme in the coming years, providing them with the opportunity to sign-up these businesses to their employee engagement survey service.</p>
