Platform 2: Facility Centres for Water Sports Activities

Platforms for Growth, which falls under the Government's Project Ireland 2040 strategy, is unlike any other Fáilte Ireland project as it explicitly targets ‘platforms’ or project types that have the greatest potential to grow tourism across Ireland throughout the year. The second Platform for Growth, launched in January 2020, focuses on developing water sports activity facilities across the country with the aim of increasing participation in water sports all year round by significantly improving the visitor experience. This was a closed call scheme for Local Authorities only.
