Employer Excellence Programme
The Fáilte Ireland Employer Excellence Programme has been developed to support businesses to drive great employee engagement, and continuously build the appeal of their workplace.
It will spotlight excellent employers and help to reposition the tourism sector as a rewarding and attractive place to work.
When an existing or potential employee sees the Employer Excellence symbol, they will know that the business is recognised for its quality people practices and for being a brilliant place to work.
How does the programme work?
In signing up to be recognised as an employer of choice through the Employer Excellence Programme you will bring your business on a three-year journey during which time your business will have access to a range of assets and supports including:
• Best-in-Class Fundamentals of People Management Training developed especially for this programme by Fáilte Ireland with top HR experts
• An employee survey provided by Great Plack to Work
• Opportunity to be certified and recognised as an excellent employer
What are the Business Commitments?
Once businesses register through the Fáilte Ireland Trade Portal they are invited to commit to the following:

Commit to the programme for a total of three years.

Sign their People Managers up to the Fáilte Ireland Fundamentals of People Management Training.

Execute the Great Place to Work survey each year.

Developing areas identified through the Employee Survey.
Once your business has registered for the programme, you as the Business Lead will be directed to the Fáilte Ireland Learning Platform, learniFI, where you can enrol your People Managers to undertake the Fundamentals of People and Performance Management Online Programme.
