Lots of Love for Fáilte Ireland’s Love Letter to Dublin


A great Dublin moment can mean completely different things to different people.

A striking new Fáilte Ireland video, which was released for St Valentine’s Day, has already clocked up nearly 230,000 views across all social media channels and has now been awarded ‘Ad of the week’ by Adworld.

The This City’s Got Love video captures a multitude of great Dublin moments and is the message from the rousing and arresting soundtrack that accompanies the footage – a track especially commissioned by Fáilte Ireland, from rising Dublin-based electro–pop duo, Le Boom.

Daragh Anglim, Head of Marketing with Fáilte Ireland, commented:

“We are thrilled that our video celebrating Dublin has received so many views.  If you ask any Dublin lover what it is they adore about the place, you’ll get a thousand different answers. The video is the latest part of Fáilte Ireland’s ongoing Visit Dublin marketing activity to promote tourism in our capital, a city boasting a variety of surprising experiences nestled between mountains and sea.
