Attractions and Activity Tourism Operators Business Continuity Scheme
The closing date for applications was 24 September 2021. The scheme is now closed.
Visitor attractions are one of the primary drivers of overseas tourism demand within Ireland. The restrictions on indoor venues and international travel means that 2021 will be a difficult year for the attractions sector and these businesses will remain extremely vulnerable. Similarly, although outdoor activity tourism operators have reopened, these providers are extremely seasonal and like attractions will be relying solely on the domestic market, shortening the season and the opportunity for revenue generation.
The aim of Fáilte Ireland’s Attraction and Activity Operators Tourism Business Continuity Scheme is to provide financial support to strategic tourism businesses within these sectors which will contribute to their sustainability until the end of 2021.
