The National Quality Assurance Framework (NQAF) is an umbrella term used to capture the statutory and non-statutory tourist accommodation registers that are managed by Fáilte Ireland. The statutory registers contain all tourist accommodation in Ireland that are using a prescribed term (e.g. Hotel or Guesthouse), and the non-statutory registers which are voluntary schemes where the proprietor chooses to become quality approved under the NQAF.
Quality-assured accommodation stands out in a crowded market. Being approved by a trusted organisation such as Fáilte Ireland, the National Tourism Development Authority, enhances the credibility of your business and attracts discerning travellers.
Displaying the Fáilte Ireland quality assured logo will also promote the fact that you are part of the wider network of tourist accommodation around the country which is approved by Fáilte Ireland.
The Framework provides consumers with easily identifiable symbols and standards of service that they can trust and demonstrates your commitment to the experience your guests have when they choose your accommodation for their holiday.
Supported by Fáilte Ireland national marketing campaigns, your property’s listing on the Discover Ireland website combined with the Fáilte Ireland Quality Assurance sign (only available to approved accommodation providers) will encourage visitors to book with you and with others that are approved under the Framework.
The Fáilte Ireland National Quality Assurance Framework assures potential visitors that they can choose your accommodation with confidence.
