The Three Peninsulas: West Cork & Kerry visitor experience development

The Three Peninsulas, West Cork and Kerry are on the most south-westerly stretch of coast on the Wild Atlantic Way.

The region includes destinations like Mizen Head, Sheep’s Head, the Beara Peninsulas, the long coastal inlets, Dursey, Bere, Garinish and Whiddy islands and the stretch of N71 from Kenmare in County Kerry to Bantry through Bonane and Glengarriff to Ballydehob. This stretch of the Wild Atlantic Way is all about offering an intimate encounter with the land, the coast and its people. It is about helping the visitor to slow down a little — to take time to discover how the layers of history have shaped and enriched the region.
