Festivals and events

The Fáilte Ireland Festivals and Events division is dedicated to supporting the development of brilliant visitor experiences in Ireland by creating and promoting a selection of world class festivals that support the social and economic contribution of tourism to Ireland.

The focus is on delivering key Fáilte Ireland owned and co-created festivals such as Púca Festival, New Year’s Festival Dublin, Ireland’s St. Patrick’s Day Celebrations etc. working closely with key strategic partners to curate and create strong, innovative festival programmes that will drive demand and growth into the future. The Festivals and Events unit also provide considerable support to a number of strategically funded, tourism related festivals around Ireland who motivate additional overseas tourists to Ireland and help to showcase the culture, people and place, thus greatly improving the visitor experience.

If you wish to seek festival funding, please contact the relevant Local Authority regarding Regional Festival funding and any queries or claims related to this.
