Ireland’s St. Patrick’s Day Celebrations

St. Patrick’s Day (17th March) is now celebrated all over the world, and where better to be for it than Ireland? St. Patrick’s Festival welcomes the world to Dublin for a celebration of contemporary Irish culture and our rich Irish heritage. Through music, visual art, literature, film, theatre, spoken word, street theatre and circus, St. Patrick’s Festival Dublin celebrates Ireland’s rich heritage of storytelling.

Building on the success of the Dublin festival we want to position Ireland as the only place to be for the St. Patrick’s Day festivities. Fáilte Ireland has identified six locations to be part of this initiative: Cork, Killarney, Waterford, Sligo, Kilkenny and Limerick, all showcasing Irish culture through their individual St. Patrick’s Day celebrations.
