Dublin experience development projects

Dublin welcomed 7.7 million tourists in 2018 and received €2,395 million in tourist spend during the same period. Tourism brings huge benefits to Dublin city and the wider county, however, it is acknowledged that currently most of the tourist activity is concentrated in the epicentre of the city.

In pursuing a sustainable tourism agenda, Fáilte Ireland recognises the importance of constantly developing and expanding the Dublin tourism product to host and welcome tourists with a world-class destination offering. This will ensure that both visitors and locals continue to thrive and enjoy the city together.
