Check your fit

  • Operate a tourism business in Ireland that delivers visitor experiences or services for domestic or international visitors 
  • Have the capacity to commit to a three-year programme and spend at least €10,000 annually on energy (excluding transport)

What you need to know about State aid (De Minimis)

Support provided through this programme is considered State aid under De Minimis rules, and eligibility will be confirmed as part of the process. The programme offers support valued at €23,351.55 over the three year period.

Participants should be prepared to commit to the programme over three years. This includes:

  • Completing an initial site audit
  • Working with expert advisor to develop a tailored climate action action plan
  • Providing baseline data and annual update
  • Tracking progress over time

  • An overview of your current operations and energy use
  • Agreement internally that you can commit leadership time over three years
  • Named individuals who will lead and support the programme within your business
