An approved provider delivers an independent employee engagement survey to your staff. The survey gathers confidential feedback on key workplace themes and highlights where your business performs well and where improvements are needed. Your Fáilte Ireland-approved HR mentor uses the results to help build a tailored action plan.

The Employer Excellence certification mark recognises businesses that demonstrate strong workplace culture and a commitment to employee engagement. Fáilte Ireland awards the mark based on employee survey results and completion of required people management training. The mark shows your business is committed to building a positive workplace culture.

Fáilte Ireland publishes a list of approved survey providers on its website. Businesses with 20 or more employees appoint a provider directly based on their needs. For businesses with fewer than 20 employees, Fáilte Ireland may appoint a provider. Only approved providers can deliver surveys for the programme.

Your business must continue to meet the programme eligibility criteria, including employee numbers, and tourism offering. Most business changes can be managed through ongoing support from your Fáilte Ireland-approved HR mentor and programme supports.
